What’s your favorite chocolate? It’s true that only the very few of us can say “no” to the temptations of chocolate. There’s just something about that amazing, yet incomparable taste. This fine delicacy has been around for centuries and only seems to get better with time. These days people from all walks of life search for the worlds finest chocolates. While every corner convenient store does carry a variety of chocolate, some of us are a little more finicky. In fact, some of us demand only the worlds finest chocolates to melt on in our mouths and caress our taste buds. Fortunately these days we can have those much desired treats without a hassle. All you need is a computer and Internet access.

Where do you buy your favorite chocolate? Are you interested in the worlds finest chocolates, or will any old cocoa-based candy do the trick? Back in my teenage years, I really didn’t have a preference when it came to chocolate. Okay, well I suppose there are the three basics. You have milk chocolate, which is the most common in candy bars and easily the most popular, then you have dark chocolate and white chocolate. Overall my favorite category is certainly milk chocolate. However, I would always eat any kind, no matter the quality or price. These days my tastes have evolved. Now that I look for finer foods and chocolates, the cheap stuff leftover from Easter doesn’t tickle my fancy. I want the worlds finest chocolates. The company that initiated this corruption was Godiva. Once you’ve waded through a box of these babies, your taste buds tend to change. Suddenly a Hershey bar seems banal. If you’ve never strolled into a Godiva store, you’re missing out. I should warn you, the worlds finest chocolates are more expensive. However in my opinion, worth the price tag. I don’t care what your preference, white, milk, or dark, you will spot it in Godiva.

The World-Wide-Web is an ideal place for purchasing the worlds finest chocolates. Ever hear of a place called Belgium? They offer some of the worlds finest chocolates and much more. With the world at your fingertips, it is feasible to by any chocolate of your choice. Do a search for those outstanding chocolates found beyond the borders of the USA. You can easily have them delivered to your front door. The worlds finest chocolates will certainly alter your taste buds once you’ve tasted them.

I recently signed up for myspace so that I could create my own webpage. I thought it would be fun to have my own personal space to keep track of daily happenings by means of a blog, store and display favorite pictures and maybe even meet some new friends in cyberspace. I thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with friends back in Toronto, to keep them abreast of happenings here in Winnipeg, and to let them keep an eye on our kids as they grow and adapt to life in the Peg.

However, I quickly got frustrated after only a couple of meager attempts to create my own webpage with myspace. I don’t know what I was expecting - I guess I wanted the computer to somehow know my information and preferences without me having to key it all in. So yes, I chalk it up to being pretty darn lazy. I did manage to halfway complete my profile. I find that when I’m put on the spot to produce content, I always think of really lame interests, hobbies and favorites and then I’m left kicking myself when I come across as a loser, a poser or even worse, just plain dull! I think the secret to success when I sit down to create my own webpage will be to plan it all out on paper before I sit down to key it in. And yes, that takes forethought and planning and I seem to be sorely lacking in those two particular departments.

I did have a personal blog page for a while. I liked this approach. I’m pretty good at blathering on about this, that and the next thing. Now here was a way to kill two birds with one stone - I’d found my creative outlet AND I would in the process create my own webpage. Unfortunately, the novelty wore off pretty quickly with that too and I ended up with an abandoned blog page with a mere handful of entries.

I don’t know why the idea of having a webpage appeals to me so much. It’s really just another responsibility to hang over my head along with all the others. Perhaps when I can dictate my own webpage just using my voice, I will be more inclined to make a go of it. Until then, I’m stuck with a lame, boring profile page and empty friends list and what was that url again…???
