Dirt Or Old Pepsi - All In A Bottle Of Water

Take a good look at the bottle of water these days? What the hell happened here? When did we all the sudden decide that water was a precious jewel? I began to wonder when I saw the price tag on a bottle of Evian. Gees, is this water ever expensive! I am astounded at how big the bottled water business has become. If you took a trip into the past, say around 50 years ago, you could never sell a bottle of water for two bucks. That would be absurd back then. Regardless, bottled water sells like hotcakes in this modern era. Heck, we all have to admit we buy it. The only question is, which brand do you prefer the most?

I am sitting here with a purchased bottle of water? What is my deal? Why am I at home, drinking a bottle of water, when there are plenty of sinks around? Well, in my defense, there was a six-pack of them in the refrigerator. I spotted it and it was convenient. Isn’t that what it always comes down to? How convenient is the next step in our everyday existence? We’re always looking for those quick fixes. This is just our current mentality. I would have to say that I encountered oodles of bottled water while attending college. This place was the goldmine for water suppliers. With all those students hurrying in every direction, thousands of bottles were sold each week. It’s amazing to me how our country is supposedly dehydrated. With everyone toting around a massive bottle of water. I can’t see how they would be. It must be all the coffee. Maybe Starbuck’s is defeating the bottled water craze. What do you think?

Are you sipping on a bottle of water as we speak? Please just tell me it’s not that Evian crap. I cannot fathom why their water is so expensive. For all I know it comes from a college kid, who fills bottles in his apartment’s kitchen sink. Is it even purified and cleaned properly, because it sure has a funky taste. Kind of like dirt. Personally when it comes to purchasing a bottle of water, I have to go with Aquafina. At least I know it is cleaned properly at the Pepsi plant. I believe it is the same water they use to produce their soft drinks. So, if you’re going to grab a bottle of water, more expensive doesn’t mean better.

Hate Cooking But Love My Electric Ice Cream Maker

One of the nicest presents we received for our wedding shower was an electric ice cream maker. I never thought that I would really appreciate an item like this, especially since I’m not really interested in cooking very much. I’m also not crazy about making a big mess in the kitchen. But I am glad to report that the electric ice cream maker is the perfect gift for someone like me.

The reason that the present is ideal is two fold. First of all, I’m a big fan of ice cream in general. I love to try new flavors and recipes. The electric ice cream maker gives me the opportunity to try new and unusual ingredients in my recipes. I can also make up some new ideas on my own that usually come out pretty great.

Aside from being an ice cream fan, I am also a fan of modern amenities that make life easy. The electric ice cream maker is a real treat for someone who wants great results with little effort. The process is ridiculously simple and anyone can do it. I have an easier time running my electric ice cream maker than I do my toaster.

The ease of use is a great benefit for anyone who has kids. I threw a party for my niece that involved the kids participating in making their own frozen desserts for the occasion. The electric ice cream maker is so easy to use and it works so quickly that we were able to make enough for everyone by the end of the event.

I also like that clean up is pretty simple, but I’m not going to tell you that it is easy. You would expect an electric ice cream maker to create a headache of a mess to pick up but the machine doesn’t. But it isn’t perfectly simple, either. You do have a little bit of work ahead of you when you use the electric ice cream maker, but it’s not nearly as bad as you would expect.

Now that I am getting better at using the electric ice cream maker I’m ready to start collecting some of my original recipes for a book. Of course, I’ll only choose the ones that are really outstanding and there are plenty. Who would have thought that a simple item like an electric ice cream maker could turn a person like me into someone who loves to spend time in the kitchen?
