Awaken Gently With A Nature Sound Alarm Clock

If there’s one moment of every day that most people don’t look forward to, it’s when their alarm clock rings in the morning. Traditionally alarm clocks emit a loud blaring noise that can terrify you if you were deep in dream land. With a nature sound alarm clock you can awaken to the gentle sounds of the shore or of the pouring rain. For many, it’s a much better way to start their day.

Decades ago, before the introduction of the clock radio, we were restricted to using alarm clocks with bells. These were generally round with two large bells atop. Once it was time for the alarm to sound off, the bells would ring loudly. If you were fast asleep when this happened, it was a jolt, to say the least. With a nature sound alarm clock, you can set it to whatever volume you are comfortable with, and you have your choice of several different sounds.

Parents often struggle with their kids to get them up in time to go to school. Giving them their own clock with an alarm is aimed at solving the problem. Most kids simply neglect to set the alarm resulting in the parent having to try and wake the child on their own. If the child has a nature sound alarm clock in their room they can choose the sound they wish to wake up to. Maybe it’s birds chirping or the sound of wind chimes. If the child is able to make this decision themselves they are more likely to utilize the alarm feature.

Most of these clocks have extra features in addition to just the alarm. Most of us appreciate the value of having a snooze button. If you set the nature sound alarm clock to ring about ten minutes before the actual time you need to get out of bed, you can use the snooze button. This affords for a much more relaxed waking experience as you have time to spend in bed before you need to start your day.

Although most of us are pretty on top of daylight savings time there may be an instance when it simply slips your mind and you forget to set the clocks ahead or back. You can actually find a nature sound alarm clock that sets the time itself. That means that you don’t have to worry about adjusting the time in April or October. It’s a smart little feature to have.

The radio is one feature that most of us couldn’t do without in the morning. If you listen to the radio after waking for weather and traffic reports you’ll still be able to do this with your nature sound alarm clock. It has a fully functioning radio and depending on the model you choose it may come pre-programmed with your local stations. Imagine not having to fiddle with the tuner trying to find your favorite station. That alone makes the nature sound alarm clock a great buy.

Make Eye Contact With A Python Alarm

I’m about to tell you a story. It’s about a woman I know and a spooky night at her office building. It happened last spring and it goes like this. Tammy was finishing up with some last minute paper work. She shoved her personal belongings into a shoulder bag with her laptop, snatched her purse from her desk and headed out. Up the elevator she went, to the top of a parking garage. She always had to park up top because it was all that was left when she arrived each day. The elevator chimed and she stepped off. The sun was falling in the background as she proceeded toward her car. There were plenty of other vehicles parked about, but no people in sight. That’s when she spotted a strange man. He was standing near a van in a far corner and appeared to be watching her. She proceeded with haste to her car. As she pulled out a set of keys from her purse, she noticed the man moving toward her out of the corner of her eye. This is when she stopped. She turned and stared at the man for a moment to let him know she knew. Now the man paused. Tammy hit the self start button on her keypad and resumed her stride, reaching the car. The man then retreated. She entered her car and drove off with a great sigh of relief.

Tammy’s story is a great one because it’s minor in a way, but real as ever. She didn’t scream at the top of her lungs, pull out a gun or set off a raging Python alarm, but she did make an intrepid gesture. She stood her ground and sent a message to a potential attacker. The message said I’m aware of your presence and I’m not frightened. Typically assailants don’t like this attitude and awareness. They go for the meek ones who scare easily.

Now, let’s talk about alarms. Personal alarms or a Python alarm for your car, both can be effective. In fact, Tammy had a Python alarm installed in her Pacifica not long after that. She wants to be sure no one can sneak inside when she at work. That would be an awful surprise. But a Python alarm is also good for other things like causing a ruckus when you feel threatened. There’s nothing like a loud screaming alarm system to draw some attention. This is where personal alarms can come in handy as well.

Take advantage of these devices! Have a Python alarm system installed in your vehicle for a little extra security. And don’t be afraid to make eye contact with someone if they’re following you. Let your presence be known and keep your head high.
